Marissa T. is also in town, Loukia M. arrived last night and we’ll be attending the International Film Awards tonight.
what a sweet surprise to bump into Nikos Georgakis at breakfast. He’s the most un-actory actor in a slimy world of ghastly actory actors. we ate hills of bacon and dished the dirt. he’s so lovely!

the Q&A was very interesting; people always ask the most unthinkable things.

The reviews have been super excellent, a couple were abominable, I have great fun with those. It’s so highschool to get bashed. Most critics have written amazing stuff, it’s overwhelming.
Woke up at 8am and Syllas will be taking me to see the locations of my next feature film which will be shot right here in Thessaloniki.

the premiere was great fun. people were really into the film. it was my first time seeing it too, I’m most proud of this film than of any other film I’ve done. It’s so original, honest, funny!! and good. naturally in hindsight I’d change a few things but that’s bullshit retarded regret bollocks.
I was so happy that my family could attend and we could share this experience together, I’ve never had the courage to let them join in on work stuff. they brought their friends too and they watched it together taking up an entire row of seats. [my possy.]
more friends from Athens are arriving in town by the hour and I’m off to have afternoon drinks with each and everyone of them. Later there is another screening of the film with a Q&A following after. *eeek*
went to visit my deeply beloved grandma Smaragda. she is the most intelligent person in our family, she’s 88, she reads 3 books a week [right now she’s reading Devil Wears Prada hahajaja] and we chatted so wonderfully. she gives me the best advice, she is so modern and decades ahead of her time. we were soon joined by auntie Anastasia and we watched the mexican soap they love, where we were speaking to the characters on tv, bashing the evil sluts and cheering for the love birds. my grandma is so cool, it’s shocking.
i got YSL moccasins, Alexander McQueen slacks, an amazing knitted coat, a black dolce shirt, and a ton of socks.
doing an interview in a few hours and later in the evening we’re all attending the premiere of the film [jitters bonanza] i’ll slip out of the theater as soon as the lights go down and go to the bar to get wasted.
for some real good laughs at my expense, tune in tomorrow on Makedonia TV, I’ll be going on their morning show for an interview. it’s a bad sign when they haven’t seen the film. fuck knows what they’ll ask me. retardation.
