Dear Diary,
I had an early morning shoot and then slept all afternoon.
I asked to borrow my character’s motorbike so I can practice tomorrow on my day off; it turned out to be quite a feat to get home on it as I had NO licence, NO registration, NO id, no nothing and I kept running into cops. I’d get off, turn the motor off, pretend I was waiting for someone and talked on my cell and wait till the cops would fuck off. Then I’d ride a few blocks more till the next bunch of cops. In the end I gave up and I WALKED the darn thing to my place. It was so hot and stuffy and I had skipped shower in the morning as I had woken up late. Yes, I was stink-EH! I fainted on the couch as soon as I got home and woke up when it was finally night.

Day.2
Better. A short day, I only had two scenes so I was home 4 hours later.
It rained a lot today but there was an OK atmosphere on the set as everyone is getting to know each other.

D.D.
shooting starts this coming Monday for more than 10 weeks.
Scared, excited.
Day1 is so loaded with tough scenes.
All of them in a crazy sequence, like one from the very beginning of the story, two from the middle and two from near the end. I have to commit to certain decisions as Day1 affects my entire journey through the film. I have to abide to those decisions later on [stylistically, character choices, etc] The set is beautiful. It’s a decadent pizza parlor near Syndagma Sq.
Gawd the butterflies in my stomach.

Dear Diary,
It’s been a crazy and tiring week and a half.
My time is officially not my own anymore and it will be so for the next 10 weeks. We start shooting Delivery on May 26th and finish mid August. Fittings, rehearsals, meetings, motorbike lessons, haircuts, screen tests, sleepless nights, angst and a lot of excitement!

It’s so cool to shoot a film. Mid-August I start rehearsals at the National Theater and in October I’ll be shooting another feature. I do hate it when someone else has complete control over my life and my time; it’s the one thing I hate about my job. However it *does* get me out of the apartment which is where I came across these spiffing sets of drawers that I bought for my workbench! I stored everything and now there’s a place for everything and everything is in its place.

Dear Diary,
Had a meetin’ today where I was introduced to the ADs and some other people. They’re an OK bunch. The hairstylist came too and luckily it was decided that I had done an excellent job cutting my hair so they didn’t cut it any more. I hate other people cutting my hair.
I’ve eaten a huge plate of black beans and I’m waiting for the miracles to start happenin’….

I went for walkies with Andreas to the Royal Gardens.
We ate sandwiches and tyropita and drank milkshakes.
it was a beautiful day, sunny but not too hot.
Andreas will direct a great script he’s written and I’ll be in it.
I’m watching one of my favorite movies, The Cactus Flower..
